In January 2013, Miami based American Realty Capital, LLC and TREO Partners, LLC joined forces and announced the formation of The TREO Group, LLC, (“TREO”), a privately held real estate investment firm focused on creating diversified investment opportunities for its capital partners by combining opportunistic acquisition strategies with proven value enhancement platforms. With approximately $50 million of committed equity capital, TREO is able to aggressively pursue, underwrite and quickly close complicated real estate transactions on a cash basis. With substantial co-investments in every transaction, our interests are fully aligned with those of our capital partners, management teams and investors. Our investments are structured and managed to reward success, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, liquidity and value creation. Currently, TREO has in excess of $70 million of assets under management, including student housing communities, commercial shopping centers and extensive land holdings for office, retail and residential use.
Since 2000, American Realty Capital, LLC (“ARC”) acquired, operated and managed over $300 million of real estate assets through a series of affiliated companies. Its diverse portfolio of properties located throughout Florida was comprised of commercial, industrial and residential properties, including land holdings for office, retail and residential use.
Established in 2008, TREO Partners, LLC (“TREO Partners”) focused on the acquisition, development and management of student housing assets throughout the Southeastern United States. TREO Partners acquired, operated and managed over $40 million of student housing assets (850 units/1,400 beds) spread across 5 residential communities in Tallahassee, Florida.
